Aim: To deepen your knowledge about the soft skills needed to prepare a good CV in order to make your job search more successful.

Description: Curriculum Vitae (CV) is your first introduction to the potential employer. Your well written CV may increase your chances to get invited for an interview, and thus, getting a job in the future. That’s why it is so important to be able to identify clearly your skills, interests and core strengths. In this exercise you will learn how to present effectively yourself to potential employers by CV and demonstrate your skills and competences in a written form. It is important as written documents create a first contact with a potential employer. Your CV is a single, most important document when searching for a job. Thus your ability to produce effectively written information in your CV will be appreciated by your potential employers.
This video material will help you to improve your skills in CV writing in accordance with your national labour market to enable you to introduce yourself properly in a written way and as a result, to improve your chances to get invited for a job interview. The video presents few simple rules on how to prepare a well presented, accurate and concise CV that will give you every opportunity to get invited to a job interview. After having watched this video, you will be able to understand the common rules for CV writing.
