Aim: To develop the level of your soft skills needed to be a great team player.
Description: Part of being successful at workplace or in your career is having the skills to work together with your colleagues and being a valuable part of the team.
When you work in team it is important to be able to listen and respect others opinions, to negotiate and compromise. Moreover, ability to work in a team will help you develop worthwhile relationships with colleagues and make you stand out as an exceptional employee to your employer. Working with your team will help you to understand your strengths to maximise your contribution to the team and become more productive at work. This exercise will deepen your knowledge about the soft skills necessary to be great team player. You will improve your understanding of benefits of working in a team for organisation and for you as an employee.
Learning outcomes: Completing this exercise will enable you to:
- Improve your understanding on benefits of working in a team;
- Improve your understanding of behaviour, needed for effective collaboration in a team in order to maximise your contribution to the team;
- Deepen your knowledge about negotiating and compromising, listening and respecting other opinions.
