Aim: To deepen your knowledge about the soft skills needed to form and lead the team.
Description: Working in teams is a common part of the business environment and may be an approach companies take to certain tasks or special projects. Teamwork involves different specialists across the business working together to maximize their efficiency and reach a common goal. If you are thinking to create your own business then think if there is the need to work in a team to reach your goals. There are many ways of organizing teams – some teams are organized around a particular product that is being developed, while others are organized around a process, such as manufacturing or research.
It takes time and requires efforts to build an efficient team, as well as you need to have some knowledge. While working in a team has its advantages both for the company and the people involved, it can be challenging for different personality types to work together on a common goal. So it is important to have the capacity to work together with different people. In this exercise, you will deepen your knowledge about the main factors that are important in team building. You also will be advised on how to behave as an effective team leader and motivate your team.
