Aim: To develop your ability to reflect critically on the purposes and aims of life-long learning to be competitive in the labour market and to organise it in the proper way.
Description: It is very important to understand the necessity of life-long learning in order to be able to compete in a labour market. This learning process is closely connected with your ability to plan your learning activities to upgrade your professional and soft skills, as working environments are changing rapidly and require a person to adapt to new working processes.
In order to better integrate into a working environment your willingness to learn and self-motivation are important.
This exercise will develop your soft skills to reflect critically on the purposes and aims of learning and organise your own learning by providing different types of behaviour which you will be asked to analyse and evaluate from the aspect of your personal learning.
Learning outcomes: Completing this exercise will enable you to:
- Be able to understand and articulate your reasons for organising life-long learning to ensure the upgrading or improvement of your professional skills;
- Be able to plan the learning activities required to keep you competitive in the labour market.
