Aim: The aims of this exercise are to deepen your knowledge about the conflicts and develop your ability to resolve conflicts.
Description: Conflict at work takes many forms. It may be that two workers simply don't get on; or that an individual has a grievance against their manager. Conflict may take the form of rivalry between teams; or it may be apparent by the lack of trust and cooperation between large groups of employees and management.
Some signs of conflict may be visible such as negative emotions exchanged between colleagues. However, not all forms of conflict are so obvious. Some individuals might hide their feelings as a way of coping with a problem.
It is very important for your success to be able to resolve conflicts, to solve disagreement between conflict parties, because you can possibly deal with difficult situations within your employment context. In this exercise, you will deepen your knowledge about the conflict situations and the behaviour appropriate while solving them.
